As a Customs Agent, you ensure that the import and export process of our air freight shipments runs fully compliant. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely submission of customs declarations and all required documentation, making sure that every shipment meets both national and international legislation.You will have daily contact with customers, internal departments, and customs authorities. You’ll ensure that documents are correct, resolve any uncertainties quickly, and keep customers fully informed about the status of their shipments. In addition, you’ll identify areas for improvement in processes and actively contribute to more efficient and smoother operations.Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and processing customs declarations and related documentation;


• Ensuring compliance with national and international customs legislation;


• Maintaining contact with customers and customs authorities;


• Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to more efficient processes;


• Supporting colleagues and departments with customs-related matters.

You are analytical, accurate, and enjoy working in an international environment where no day is the same. You like switching between customers, internal teams, and customs authorities.You also bring:

• Full-time availability (38.75 hours per week);


• Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;


• Higher education level (HBO or equivalent);


• Experience in logistics or customs.
