The Role

As a Logistics Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining and managing business processes, implementing technology roadmaps, and effectively managing change within diverse, multicultural environments. You will collaborate with logistics business leads, leveraging your leadership and customer-focused approach to influence decisions and drive change. This role requires functional subject matter expertise and the ability to anticipate customer needs. You will interact with multiple vendors and partners, both internal and external to the network, to gather and synthesize detailed business requirements and assess current and future business processes. You will apply operational and analytical skills to rationalize change, lead brainstorming sessions to gather requirements, and follow up on committed actions.


As part of your day-to-day activities, you will be responsible for the following activities: 



  • First Point of Contact for the day-to-day operations and ensure everything goes smoothly;

  • Support high volumes of automated transactions in the Amsterdam warehouse(s) operations and work with the suppliers to resolve any inbound/outbound discrepancies and aging orders;

  • Tracking & monitoring inbound/outbound shipments ensuring to meet KPIs and OKRs as agreed to with the client;

  • Monitor the daily Supplier Operations/Exceptions Reporting and Weekly process management/metrics reporting;

  • Attend the daily operations stand up meetings and weekly suppliers alignment meetings, answer tactical requests from local teams;

  • Work on longer term process improvements & documentation;

  • Support stabilizing the operation to upgrade the warehouse management system;

  • Be the on site point of contact for operational coordination activities of special projects/requests;

  • Identify and bring to Site Operations Manager attention any escalations, discrepancies and propose solutions;

  • Manage specific process such as packaging, scrap, DG;

  • Participate in Audits and follow up on actions and improvements area.

A Logistics Operations Project Manager who turns data and KPIs into clear actions on the floor, aligns teams and 3PL partners, and makes decisions when it counts. Someone who rolls up their sleeves, explains the why, and drives improvement so results are visible from dock to dashboard.Additionally, you bring:



  • Full-time availability;

  • 5 + years of experience in Warehouse operations with a strong fundamental knowledge of all warehouse activities including inventory management and monitoring KPI metrics (high volume and/or highly customized logistics solutions);

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience as key contributor to projects;

  • Experience leading 3PL partners to establish facts, solve complex problems, establish corrective action plans;

  • Knowledge of Smartsheet and Google Workspace.

  • Starting salary from €3,900 up to €4,500 (based on 38.75 hours per week) depending on experience;
