In this position, you will coordinate export shipments by sea from A to Z. You will manage the process as efficiently as possible, ensuring that all customer standards and requirements are met. You will report directly to the Ocean Export Lead Agent and Supervisor. To help you get up to speed quickly, you will be paired with an experienced colleague via our structured buddy system.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Customer Service & Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them continuously informed and handling international shipment arrangements.  


• Operations & Documentation: Coordinate the smooth and timely flow of ocean freight, managing all correct maritime documentation.  


• Data & Track & Trace: Ensure accurate data entry into our operational system and use global monitors to track and trace shipments.  


• Vendor & Billing Management: Maintain strong relationships with ocean carriers and trucking companies while ensuring accurate client and vendor billing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. You fit well into a corporate environment and are motivated to learn.

Additionally, you bring:

• Minimum of 1 year of freight forwarding experience (experience in import or export is acceptable, though export is preferred).  


• Solid understanding of Incoterms.  


• Professional fluency in English (proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred, but strong English-only candidates are welcome).  


• Full-time availability (38.75 hours per week).

• A competitive starting salary ranging between € 3,000 and € 4,000 gross per month (based on experience).  


• An initial 7-month contract with a clear path toward a permanent employment contract.
