As a full-time Declarant, you are responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient customs processes while delivering a high level of service to our customers. You play an active role in preparing and processing customs declarations and work closely with colleagues, customers, and customs authorities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring accurate and timely execution of customs processes (DVA / DMS Import / DMS Export);


• Preparing, reviewing, and submitting import and export customs declarations;


• Correctly interpreting and applying import and export procedures (DLSOP – Desk Level Standard Operating Procedure);


• Timely and accurate data entry in operational systems;


• Reviewing customs documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance;


• Acting as a key point of contact between customers, customs authorities, and other government agencies.

You are detail-oriented, take ownership of your work, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. In addition, you bring:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a (Junior) Declarant / Customs Broker;


• A proactive and flexible mindset;


• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively;


• Solid computer skills (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook);


• Good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken;


• A team-oriented attitude, supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
