In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for creating, analyzing, and managing pricing proposals for ocean freight. You’ll combine commercial insight with analytical precision keeping a close eye on market trends, comparing carrier rates, and ensuring our quotes are both competitive and profitable.Working closely with colleagues from Sales, Operations, and Customer Service, you’ll develop smart, strategic pricing solutions every day. You’ll collaborate with shipping lines, agents, and customers worldwide to ensure every link in the supply chain connects seamlessly.Your key responsibilities will include:

• Requesting, comparing, and managing rates from carriers and international agents;


• Preparing quotes and pricing proposals within set deadlines;


• Analyzing market trends and monitoring profit margins;


• Maintaining contact with customers, sales, and operations teams;


• Reporting on trends, pricing developments, and performance metrics.

You’re someone who enjoys solving puzzles with numbers, processes, and people. You work in a structured way, think in solutions, and always keep oversight, even when the pressure is high. With your curiosity and eagerness to learn, you don’t just want to know what something costs, but why.In addition, you bring:

• Full-time availability (38.75 hours per week);


• Fluency in written and spoken English;


• An MBO+ or HBO degree (preferably in logistics or supply chain);


• Relevant experience in logistics or ocean freight.
