You will take on a high level of responsibility, work closely with different departments, and build specialist knowledge in international trade, healthcare, and quality. This is a great next step if you already have relevant experience and are ready to develop yourself further.

The Role

As a Trade & Healthcare Compliance Officer, you will support both the Trade Compliance team and our Healthcare organization. You will spend approximately three days per week on Trade Compliance and two days per week on Healthcare Compliance.Within Trade Compliance, your responsibilities will include:



  • Ensuring that import and export processes comply with applicable laws and regulations;

  • Conducting internal audits and compliance checks;

  • Supporting operational departments with screenings, pre-checks, and compliance-related questions;

  • Reviewing files and identifying potential risks or non-compliance;

  • Monitoring compliance reports and following up on action points;

  • Contributing to preventive measures and process improvements;

  • Supporting the implementation and monitoring of internal Trade Compliance procedures;

  • Contributing to training and awareness initiatives related to Trade Compliance.


Within Healthcare Compliance, you will support the organization in maintaining Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and meeting the applicable requirements for healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics.Your responsibilities will include:



  • Supporting GDP compliance and adherence to WDA requirements;

  • Conducting and following up on quality checks and internal audits;

  • Supporting CAPAs, deviations, change controls, and quality risk management activities;

  • Reviewing and maintaining procedures and documentation;

  • Ensuring documents are accurate, up to date, and properly version controlled;

  • Supporting complaints, returns, and recalls involving medicinal products;

  • Carrying out due diligence checks;

  • Verifying that storage and transportation conditions meet the required quality standards;

  • Supporting training activities related to GDP and Healthcare Compliance.


You will also support the Responsible Person / Designated Person within Healthcare Compliance, giving you the opportunity to further develop your knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution.

This is what you will bring to the role

For this role, we are specifically looking for someone who already has a solid foundation within compliance, quality, healthcare, pharma, customs, or international trade and is ready to take the next step.You do not need to be an expert in every aspect of both Trade Compliance and Healthcare Compliance. However, it is important that you bring relevant experience and enjoy working with detailed and complex subject matter.You are a good fit if you:



  • Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in compliance, healthcare, pharma, or GDP;

  • Are available full-time (38.75 hours per week);

  • Are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;

  • Are eligible to obtain a VGB security clearance, which requires you to have lived within the EU for the past 8 years.
