The RoleAs a Transportation Coordinator, you will be part of the Global Transportation Team. Together, you ensure that transportation activities run smoothly and are continuously improved.No two days are the same. One moment you may be analyzing a carrier’s performance, the next you are discussing an operational issue with a warehouse or 3PL, and later you may be working on a project focused on cost reduction or improving on-time performance.You do not only focus on what needs to happen today, but also on how processes can be made smarter and more efficient tomorrow.As a Transportation Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and following up on daily transportation activities;
- Working closely with warehouses, carriers, 3PLs, suppliers, and internal teams;
- Monitoring shipments and ensuring operational issues are resolved quickly;
- Analyzing transportation and performance data and identifying improvement opportunities;
- Monitoring and reporting carrier performance, KPIs, and other key results;
- Identifying trends and recurring carrier issues and taking proactive action;
- Contributing to projects focused on process improvement, cost reduction, consolidation, and on-time performance;
- Keeping operational processes, SOPs, and work instructions up to date and continuously improving them;
- Holding regular meetings with carriers, 3PLs, suppliers, and other stakeholders;
- Preparing presentations and discussing results with suppliers and customers;
- Contributing to solutions for complex transportation challenges;
- Coordinating multiple projects at the same time and setting priorities based on operational needs.

You take initiative and come up with ideas yourself.You also enjoy working with different stakeholders and feel comfortable participating in conversations and meetings with customers, carriers, suppliers, and other internal and external partners.In addition, you bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics (road, air, or ocean);
- Knowledge of or experience with import and/or export processes;
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken;
- The ability to read and understand data and translate insights into concrete actions;
- Experience with tools such as Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides.
