The RoleAs a Warehouse Agent, you are an essential link in our daily logistics operation. You ensure the flawless, safe, and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing freight. Your main responsibilities include:
- Professionally loading and unloading trucks.
- Thoroughly checking incoming and outgoing cargo, including the associated documentation.
- Receiving and guiding truck drivers in a customer-friendly and correct manner.
- Locating, registering, and preparing shipments using our modern track & trace systems.
- Thriving under healthy time pressure to ensure network schedules and deadlines are met.
- Operating the forklift and/or reach truck to move cargo safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Actively contributing ideas for process improvement and identifying potential bottlenecks.
This is what you will bring to the role
- Experience: Proven experience with loading and unloading within a logistics or freight operations environment.
- Certificates: Minimum demonstrable experience operating a reach truck and/or forklift; a valid certificate is highly preferred.
- Flexibility & Attitude: Since we operate with rotating shift schedules (including morning, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts), a flexible attitude is absolutely required. You are used
- to working under pressure, act with high precision, and are solution-oriented.
- Languages: A good command of the English language is required (proficiency in Dutch is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Screening: You are eligible to apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VGB) or can provide proof of at least 8 years of continuous residence within the EU.
