As an Air Export Agent, you make sure international air freight shipments reach their destination smoothly and on time. You coordinate the export process from start to finish and act as an important point of contact for our customers.One moment you are arranging a new booking with an airline, the next you are updating a customer on the status of their shipment, and later you may be solving an unexpected change in the schedule. It is exactly this combination of customer service, logistics and coordination that makes the role so varied.As an Air Export Agent, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the complete export process for international air freight shipments;


• Maintaining daily contact with customers and proactively keeping them informed about their shipments;


• Booking shipments with different airlines;


• Communicating with airlines, carriers and Expeditors offices around the world;


• Preparing and checking transport and customs documentation;


• Monitoring shipments and making sure deadlines are met;


• Responding quickly to delays, changes and other logistical challenges;


• Accurately processing invoices, transport documents and other administrative tasks.

This is certainly not a role where you will spend your entire day doing administration. As an Air Export Agent, you combine customer service with planning, coordination and solving logistical challenges.

You do not need to be an experienced air freight specialist to succeed in this position. We are primarily looking for someone who is great with customers, eager to learn and motivated to build a career in international logistics.

You are a strong communicator, enjoy interacting with different people and are able to maintain an overview when things get busy. Rather than waiting for things to happen, you think ahead and take initiative.In addition, you:

• Are available full-time (38.75 hours per week);


• Are available to work one of the fixed shifts: 08:30–17:00 or 10:30–19:00;


• Do not need to work weekends;


• Are fluent in written and spoken English;


• Are eligible to obtain a VGB security clearance;


• Have experience in customer-facing roles and are eager to develop your career in international logistics.

Previous experience in logistics, transport or air freight is an advantage, but certainly not a requirement.
