Customs Consultant (AMS)

Each of these continents and countries have their own laws and regulations. As a Customs Consultant you will make sure Expeditors acts according to these different rules and regulations.

Job description

Day in and day out, our Customs department ensures that all import and export shipments are formally perfectly handled. It is of importance that are shipments are handled quickly and extremely accurately. Due to the extensive customs expertise, the right systems and extensive contact with customs authorities worldwide, this is not a problem for our Customs department.

As a Customs Consultant you ensure that the laws and regulations regarding are import and export shipments are followed. You take internal policy, standards operation procedures and external government regulations into account. You are aware of legal requirements regarding import and export of goods. An important part of your role is compliance with customs procedures. You also maintain contact with customers, suppliers and internal customers.

Your profile
  • You have a diploma in Customs Consultant or Customs Declarant;
  • The willingness to work evening shifts, weekend shifts and possibly during public holidays;
  • Experience in using Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Masters both English and Dutch language in speech and writing.
