The RoleIn this challenging and varied role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, handling, and follow-up of all import LCL sea freight shipments and documents. You will work meticulously with the data you enter into the system. Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with carriers, handlers, and our internal and external clients. On the job, you will learn to understand sea freight processes and proactively work to make operational processes more efficient. You will also deal with import documentation. A diverse and multifaceted position indeed!
This is what you will bring to the role
- You are available full-time;
- You speak and write fluent English;
- You have at least 1 year of work experience as an expeditor;
- You are proficient in Incoterms.
As a Ocean Import Gateway Agent you can count on
- Starting salary from €2,600 based on 38.75 hours per week;
- Pension scheme and personal training budget;
- A 7-month contract with the possibility of a permanent contract;
- Ability to participate in ExpeditorsStock Purchase Plan.
