A Customs Agent at Expeditors is responsible for coordinating customs activities, ensuring shipments comply with required regulations, and facilitating the smooth transit of goods across international borders. This position is open at our Schiphol location and is focused entirely on air freight shipments that need to be distributed from the airport to the customer. As a Customs Agent, you play an essential role in handling customs matters, documentation and supporting internal and external questions regarding customs and regulatory issues. You ensure a seamless clearance process and seek ways to improve operational processes, striving for a greater efficiency and productivity.
